About me
In 2015 I, Ottoman Joseph Lutambi, had an idea of starting something related to Sustainable Agriculture, which would provide permaculture skills to the community. I thought that at the end of the day the community would start their own Agriculture projects in a sustainable manner. I spent much time reviewing my ideas, planning this and that but sustainability was the question. After attaining several trainings around Permaculture, in 2017 I concluded that Permaculture was the only project that could be a solution to many problems not only income generation for subsistence farmers but also environmentally sustainable.
In the beginning of 2020 I started preparing the land and designing the zones as well as searching for financial resources in order to realize my 2015 dream of Permaculture project that is “Kukua Practical Permaculture of Africa” which will be dedicated to train the community on how they can interact economically, socially and ecologically with each other without altering the systems a lot.
About Us
Kukua Permaculture of Africa is a project to promote Permaculture all over Tanzania and Africa.
